A woman from Texas has been arrested after authorities say she was taking sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, to treat a sudden heart attack.
Trevor L. Rodriguez, 61, of Austin, Texas, was arrested Tuesday after he told authorities he had taken more than 30,000 Viagra pills for sexual enhancement.
He said he had sex with his wife and his daughter, who was from Texas, in the 1970s.
Rodriguez told authorities she took 10,000 pills from a pharmacy in her home and that the amount she bought was too high, and she had not used the medication.
